Well this morning coming looks like a bit of a weather window to get out with the big lens and take some wildlife photos. Will be mainly focusing on the birds but will also have the landscape gear out with me too. Heading out to a couple of new spots that have had some good birds of prey and owls showing most of the day. Hopefully i get lucky and they show well. If not then their is always the waders and passerines about. I will update when i have more. Regards, Nick

Well what can i say, the weather is awful here in the UK at the moment. Its not bad for bird watching but as for trying to hold a 500mm lens via just the hands its nigh on impossible due to the high winds. I have been to a few hides with the tripod but hides have never really produced good photos for me as its all a little to set up. So i decided to do something i have not done for about 5 years. Crack out the landscape gear. You can see some of the results of this in my Gallery. I hope you enjoy. Regards, Nick

Hello Its been a long time since i have written in the journal or posted any pictures, lets just say its been a hectic few months! I should have some photographs to upload over the next few days and will be getting out and about abit more. The weather in the South of England has been exceptionally bad over the last few months and this has put photography on the back burner. There has however been a few clear days which have coincided nicely with tide times and some good winter bird photography.
